Brenda and Brandon's Engagement Session

Brenda and Brandon met me early on a Sunday morning in Pasadena, and we had a relaxed and fun time, while taking advantage of the beautiful morning light! It's good that we started early because it was one of the hottest days of the year and when we finished at 10:30, it was over 90 degrees! I was very fortunate that they were not only a gorgeous couple, but enthusiastic and photogenic as well! They are getting married next year in the beautiful Napa Valley.

Our day began at the family home of our bride, Kate, in Monrovia, CA. What a spectacular garden! Kate’s family had been working tirelessly for months, sprucing up the beautiful yard so that we could have perfect backgrounds for pictures. We spent a lovely afternoon photographing the bride and groom, their wedding party and family members.

Once all the pictures were completed, everyone traveled to St. Gregory Armenian Apostolic Church in Pasadena. A large crowd of excited family and friends watched as Chris and Kate were married in a beautiful ceremony, after which the party began! The reception was held in the newly-remodeled banquet hall on the grounds of St. Gregory’s.
